Hot Bites 20 May 2013- . Strong currents running south slowed a little and with a push of warm water feeding inside the 1000 fathom line we've seen some big Yellowfin Tuna and a few Striped Marlin. Over the weekend the biggest fin was 81.4kg, we weighed in a 72kg fish also. A few Mahi Mahi and Albacore were also tagged. Water temps range from 19.5-21.4 degrees. Inshore the toads and Leather jackets continue to plagued the reef. The beaches and rocks are producing good numbers of Bream, Whiting and Salmon and Tailor.
